Sign out other devices and forget remembered devices
See every device signed in with your account, sign out the ones you do not use, and forget browsers that skip the code.
Use this after you signed in on a shared or office computer, or when a phone or laptop is lost.
Sign out a device
- Open My account and scroll to Where you are signed in.
- Find the device by its name, browser, sign-in time and IP address. The one you are using shows This device.
- Press Sign out on its row. The message Signed out on that device appears.
To end every session except the one in front of you, press Sign out all others, then Sign out others in the question Sign out everywhere else?. Every other device has to sign in again.
Forget a remembered device
This part shows only when two-step sign-in is on.
- In Remembered devices, find the browser. This device marks the one you are using.
- Press Forget. The message Device forgotten appears.
- To forget them all, press Forget all and confirm with Forget all in Forget every remembered device?.
After you do it
- A signed-out device opens the sign-in page at its next click.
- A forgotten device still signs in with the password, but asks for the two-step code again.
- Signing out does not change your password. If you think someone knows it, change your password as well: that also signs out every other device.
Note
Sessions end by themselves 14 days after sign-in. A remembered device is remembered for 30 days.
