Lead and quotation statuses
Every status, stage and lost reason of leads and quotations, what each one means and what moves a record into it.
Leads and quotations show their state as a coloured chip. The tables below list each one, what it means and what changes it.
Lead status
| Status | Meaning | What moves a lead here |
|---|---|---|
| Open | A lead you are still working on. The card shows its stage. | Every new lead. Moving a booked lead back to a stage that is not a won stage, or Reopen on a lost lead. |
| Booked | The lead became a sale. | Moving it to a won stage (by default Booked), by drag and drop, the stage arrow, Stage or Move to stage…; or booking a quotation linked to it. |
| Lost | The lead will not book. It leaves the board and shows its reason. | Mark as lost with a reason. |
Lead stages (default list)
Stages are your own list in Settings → Lists. A new agency starts with:
| Stage | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | Just came in. New leads start in the first stage of the list. |
| Contacted | You have spoken to them. |
| Interested | They want to go ahead. |
| Quotation sent | Marked as the quotation stage: sending a quotation linked to an open lead moves it here by itself (never backwards). |
| Follow-up | Waiting for their answer. |
| Booked | Marked as a won stage: moving a lead here makes it Booked. |
You can rename, reorder, hide or add stages. A lead whose stage was removed shows in the first column.
A new lead with no reply shows No reply yet on its card, with how long it has waited. The first call, WhatsApp, note, stage move or quotation sent counts as the first reply.
Lost reasons (default list)
Also your own list in Settings → Lists:
| Reason | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Price too high | The price was the problem. |
| Dates did not suit | The dates did not work for them. |
| Booked elsewhere | They booked with another agency. |
| Stopped replying | No answer any more. |
| Other | Anything else; add a note to say what. |
