Complete, reopen or change many tasks at once
Tick a task done, reopen it, or select many tasks to mark them done, reassign them or move their due date in one go.
Before you start
- Anyone who can see tasks can tick them done and reopen them.
- Assigning, moving due dates, editing and deleting need permission to manage tasks.
Tick one task
- Tick the box at the start of the row. The message Task done appears with Undo.
- To reopen it, choose Done in the filter and untick it.
Change many tasks
- On Tasks, press Select. Tick boxes appear on every row.
- Tick the tasks, or press Select all shown. The bar Selected tasks shows how many are selected.
- Choose:
- Mark done (in the Open view) or Reopen (in the Done view);
- Assign to…: a teammate or Nobody;
- Move due date (open tasks): a new date, or no date.
- A message confirms the change ("5 tasks done", "3 tasks assigned to Mariam", "4 tasks moved to 12 November") with Undo.
- Press Cancel or
Escto leave selection.
Up to 500 tasks can change at once.
Delete a task
Open the row menu → Delete task. It is deleted at once, with no question; the message Task deleted has Undo for a few seconds (Task restored).
After you change tasks
Done tasks keep the date they were done. Ticking a trip's task updates the trip's readiness and the Departures board, and the trip's History records it.
If something goes wrong
- You can only tick tasks: your role can tick and reopen, but not change other fields.
- Choose what to change: nothing was chosen in the selection bar.
- Task not found: someone deleted the task. Refresh the list.
