Search or jump anywhere with Ctrl K

Find a booking, customer, trip, quotation, lead, hotel or traveller by name, number or mobile, or open any screen, from anywhere.

How toUpdated

Use Search or jump to when you know what you want but not where it is: a booking number a customer read out on the phone, a customer's mobile, or a screen you rarely open.

Steps

  1. Press Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac), or press Search or jump to in the top bar. The search window opens.
  2. Type what you are looking for:
    • the name of a screen, for example Payments or My account and security;
    • or at least two letters of a booking number, a customer's name or mobile, a trip, a quotation, a lead, a hotel or a traveller. For a traveller, the last four characters of the passport number work too.
  3. Move through the results with ↑ and ↓ (PageUp and PageDown jump five at a time), then press Enter. Or press a result with the mouse.
  4. To close the window without opening anything, press Esc or Ctrl K again.

After you open a result

  • A screen opens as if you had chosen it from the menu.
  • A record opens on its own page: the booking, the customer, the trip, the quotation, the hotel, or the lead on the Leads board. A traveller opens the customer who pays for them, or Travellers when there is none.

The results are grouped: Screens first, then Customers, Bookings, Trips, Quotations, Leads, Hotels and Travellers. You see up to 30 results.

Note

Search shows only what your role lets you see. If a colleague finds a record and you do not, your role does not include that kind of record (for example quotations or hotels).

If something goes wrong

  • Type at least two letters to search records.: with one letter, only screens are shown. Type one more letter.
  • No matches. Try a booking number, a name or a phone number.: nothing matches what you typed. Check the spelling, try part of the name, or type the mobile without the country code.
