Add a hotel and its rooms
Describe the building once, floors, rooms per side, views and room mix, and the system creates every room with its number.
Add each hotel you contract rooms with. You describe the building once; every room can be fine-tuned later by clicking it.
Before you start
- You need permission to manage hotels.
- At least one room type must exist in Settings → Lists (with how many people it sleeps). Cities, room features and meal plans come from there too.
Steps
- Open Hotels and rooms and press Add hotel (or the Add a hotel card). The Add a hotel window opens with a live 3D preview.
- Type the Hotel name and, if you like, the Name in Arabic. The Sign on the roof fills from the first word of the name (up to 18 characters); change it if you want.
- Choose the City and the Stars, and type the Area or address, Reservations contact, Phone and Email. Pick a Colour.
- Under The building, set Floors with rooms (1 to 40) and Rooms on each side (1 to 12). The hotel has two sides, so floor 1 with 5 rooms per side has rooms 101 to 110.
- Name the View on the front side and the View on the back side (for example "Sea view", with the Arabic In Arabic).
- Under Room mix, pick City hotel, Resort or Umrah and Hajj, or use Fine-tune: how many of each type in every set of rooms. The types are spread evenly over the floors.
- Type the Usual nightly rate per room for each type. New contracts start with these rates.
- Check the preview and the summary of rooms by type, then press Add hotel with 80 rooms (the button shows your number).
After you add it
- The hotel opens with the message "… added. Now contract rooms for a trip."
- Every room exists with its number (floor + position: 101, 102 …). Corner and front-side features are placed for you.

Change or remove a hotel
- Press Edit hotel, change the details and press Save hotel. The message Hotel saved appears. Floors and room counts are fixed once the hotel is built. Change single rooms by clicking them in the building.
- In the same window, Delete hotel removes the hotel and all its rooms (Delete this hotel?). A hotel that has contracts shows Archive hotel instead (Archive this hotel?): it is kept for your records, hidden from the list, and can be brought back with Restore.
If something goes wrong
- Add a room type in Settings, Lists first: add at least one room type, then try again.
- Give the hotel a name: the hotel name is empty.
